If you have only very limited time to discover Bolivia, and you want to explore the famous sacred Lake Titicaca, then this tour is certainly for you. In this tour we will visit the most important places on and near the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca. The tour will take us through the Altiplano to the shores of the lake and then along the shoreline and across on a ferry to the most beautiful town on the whole lake, Copacabana. Here we will spend a night and then the next day we will explore in our four wheel drive SUV along little used tracks the Indian communities on the Copacabana peninsula with unforgettable scenery. We will navigate the Lake Titicaca on vessel owned by one of the communities and will visit the famous Island of the Sun (Isla del Sol), where you will be able to appreciate some of the remains of the Inca civilization, and before returning to Copacabana and La Paz, we shall also visit the Island of the Moon (Isla de la Luna).
If you have more time on your hands, we recommend the three day tour, as that will give you more time to explore the Lake Titicaca.
