Destination Coroico
Coroico is one of the most picturesque villages in Bolivia. It is 100 km from La Paz in Nor Yungas, and along the way there are drastic altitude changes. Coroico has a pleasant climate due to its location and altitude of 1800 m (5905 f).
It lies in sub-tropical zone and this makes it ecological paradise with exotic flora, birds and butterflies. It is also near the coca growing region. It is a perfect place for rest and relaxation with breath taking views of Cordillera Real (Andes) and surrounding cloud forests.
It is a pleasant base from which interesting walks and short site trips can be contucted; Uchunachi hill, Pozos Vagantes, Tocaña, and Huarinilla river just to name a few.
